FamilyCal — Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-31
The short version
FamilyCal works without an account. The only thing our server stores is what the feature needs: calendar events and list items you create in a shared space (so your family can see them), tied to an anonymous device identifier — no account, no email. No email, no name, no ads, and we never sell data.
What we store
- An anonymous device identifier — a random string generated on first launch. It contains no personal information and is not linked to your identity.
- Feature data: calendar events and list items you create in a shared space (so your family can see them), tied to an anonymous device identifier — no account, no email.
- Anonymous usage counts: a few product-usage events (installed, first core action, price page opened, purchase) tied to a random on-device identifier. They contain nothing you typed or created.
- Nothing else. No account, no email, no advertising identifiers, no ad SDKs, no data brokers.
What we do with it
Only what the feature requires. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling.
Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Deleting your data
Delete the relevant items in the app and they are removed from our server. To wipe everything tied to your device, email support@flotillalabs.com — we delete on request, no questions asked.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. We will never quietly weaken it.
